Koshyk – a case on your plate
Packaging that speaks in the quiet voice of natural food
When TM Koshyk, a trusted grocery brand known for quality and variety, set out to launch its own line of staple grains, they came to us with a clear intention: to create packaging that speaks in the same simple, natural language as the product itself. Our task was to develop a unified visual system for the full range — one that felt clean, consistent, and intuitively easy to navigate. No noise. No tricks. Just everyday food, naturally and honestly presented.
The Design Concept
At the core of the design lies a principle of visual clarity and structural unity. Each pack follows a unified grid system: a top-placed logo, a central plate composition, a transparent window and a clear product name. This consistent structure ensures strong brand recognition and makes it easy for shoppers to navigate the shelf. The overall solution is minimalist, clean, effortlessly adaptable and ideal for scaling across a product line while maintaining a cohesive visual identity.
Stylised Grain Illustrations
Stylised Grain Illustrations Each pack features a distinctive, stylised graphic element inspired by the shape and texture of the grain it contains. These illustrations are crafted in a minimal linear style or as subtle patterns that seamlessly integrate into the background or overall composition. For buckwheat, sharp geometric triangles and seed-like forms reflect its pointed, angular structure. For rice, smooth oval shapes evoke the softness and elongated form of the grain. For millet, fine circular dots create a sense of lightness and brightness — like scattered sunlight.
At the heart of each pack is a central plate motif that brings it all together — pairing a delicate illustration of the cooked dish with a transparent window that reveals the raw grain inside. This reinforces the connection between form and function, design and product.
